Responsibilities:

  • Write efficient and testable code
  • Create a website layout/user interface by using standard HTML, CSS practices often from scratch
  • Create, maintain and make backup websites
  • Evaluate the code to ensure it meets industry standards, is valid, is properly structured, and is compatible with browsers, devices, or operating systems.
  • Optimize websites for maximum speed and scalability
  • Plan a project, do estimation and anticipate potential problems
  • Constant communication with other colleagues to develop and deploy the content, establishing a clear timeframe for finishing tasks

Requirements:

  • Proven working experience in web programming
  • Experience in working with WordPress plus WooCommerce, ACF, and the builders such as Elementor, Divi as well as theme customisation
  • Excellent knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, SASS, Bootstrap 3 and 4
  • Create Pixel Perfect Responsive Static Websites and Dashboards from scratch
  • Experience in creating HTML Email Templates from scratch. These should be supported by all email clients on web and mobile (Experience with Mailchimp is a plus or the willingness to learn how email templates work in Mailchimp)
  • Solid Knowledge of Git.
  • Familiarity with browser testing and debugging
  • Basic knowledge of image authoring tools and familiarity with tools such as Gimp or Photoshop is a plus.
  • Basic Knowledge of On-page SEO
  • Ability to multitask with strict time constraints, budgets and business goals
  • Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment and learn and master diverse web technologies and techniques.
  • Strong communication skills and a dedicated team player
  • A high degree of independent judgement and the ability to solve complex problems
