A New Ticket-Selling Website Specifically Optimized for SEO – gotStubs

GotStubs’ site is now a fast and functional website with a speed score of 100/100 on desktop and 96/100 on mobile devices. It is fully SEO-optimized, and it is being filled out with SEO content that targets the relevant transactional keywords. In addition, the website is now a reseller of tickets on the territory of the whole USA, in comparison to being centred only locally in the Chicago area when they approached us.

The Project

Working on gotStubs meant focusing on creating a website that will deliver an excellent user experience. At the same time, it is also loved by Google bots and evaluated and ranked high on the Google search engine page results. The project was started from scratch, so it involved the whole team from the very beginning – the developers crafting the website, the SEO team analyzing it and giving recommendations to optimize it to the max, and the content team optimizing the content and creating new content for the target pages, the event pages, and the performers/team pages.

GotStubs is a Chicago founded ticket marketplace that covers millions of live and digital concerts, theatre, and sports across the nation. They sell tickets for events all around the US, all while giving a portion of their proceeds back to their Chicago-based not for profit partner, Fight 2 Feed.

The Challenge

The project is still ongoing, but it has proved to be a pleasure to work on. Since we started from scratch – building the website and providing most of the content for it, there were no hard challenges to overcome. Therefore, while the process of optimization lasts, we are strictly following our optimization plan.

Client Needs

GotStubs contacted us to help them with the optimization of their website for selling event tickets. Because of the constraints of their old site, the client wanted us to build a new website that will be fully SEO optimized and ready to face its online competitors. The requests were straightforward – we want a site that will attract qualifying leads and keep them on the pages until they find the tickets they are looking for.
